According to a new survey by The Washington Post, only 3.7 percent of tech workers are full-time employees, while the average full-timer makes $100,000.

In comparison, 4.7 million people are part-time, with an average wage of $40,000 per year.

The average part-timer earns $11,000 a year.

The survey was commissioned by TechRadars new venture funding round and shows that fewer people are working in technology compared to other sectors.

The study found that more than half of tech-related startups are privately-funded.

The report also shows that nearly 70 percent of the companies that have raised a Series B funding were founded or started by women.
