Development on the construction of two new NHL arenas in Portland and Vancouver has been underway for several months, but it is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
The NHL has been working on two stadiums in Portland, one for the expansion Portland Winterhawks and the other for the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks.
The Winterhawks are due to open this summer and the Canucks are due for completion in 2022.
The NHL has long been looking to expand to more cities, but this is the first time a new stadium has been approved.
In a news release, the NHL said it expects to close construction of the Winterhawks arena by the summer of 2020, and the team has been negotiating with private partners to help finance construction.
Construction on the arena will be completed by the spring of 2021.
Construction for the Vancouver Canucks is expected for the first part of the 2020-21 NHL season.
The team has long planned to build its own stadium and has partnered with the city of Vancouver to build a $1 billion stadium.
The construction of this stadium is expected in 2019.
The new facilities will be designed to be ready for the 2020 Olympics and the 2020 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
They will also provide additional amenities to help bring the NHL to the Pacific Northwest.
The arena will have two separate parking lots for hockey players and their families.
